Croydon-based Community Music Skills (CMS) staged
a series of concerts featuring well-known headliners and award-winning
support acts, and is providing a powerful theme - Alliance
of Talent Against Crime (ATAC) - so performers can use
their music to speak out on the growing problem of gun, drug
and knife crime in inner cities.
As part of this special event CMS joined with The Way
to Happiness Foundation to produce a special commemorative
edition of The Way to Happiness book to help
promote a better community spirit and bring about a reduction
in crime and drugs.
The Way to Happiness book has been used successfully
in many areas throughout the world - it is a common sense
guide to a happier, more successful life. It includes 21 precepts
for daily living that have relevance for anyone, regardless
of race, creed or ethnic background.
The precepts of The Way to Happiness booklet
are practical tools that an individual can use to guide his
or her own life - and to deal with the dishonesty or misconduct
of others.
