Religious Success with The Way to Happiness Book
"In the quest to show all mankind 'The Way to Happiness', a legendary philosopher, a great man of wisdom, his Eminence L. Ron Hubbard, had a thought and put the thought into twenty-one principles as a guide to the way to happiness. I share the same thought and believe in Mr. Hubbard's principles. I also believe that I must share these great principles with members and non-members of Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.
"It is with great pride that I profoundly announce that the twenty-one principles as herein outlined, shall be included with the principles of the Celestial Church of Christ."
His Eminence, Reverend G. Bolanle Shonekan
Pastor & Supreme Head CCC Worldwide
I spent 19 years of my life, as a member of a California Prison Gang and living a life void of morals and virtues, filled with vice and violence, on the streets or behind the walls of prison. In 1995 this came to a climax when I was sentenced to four life sentences and 96 years ... but the vices and violence continued until, in 2004, I enrolled in the Criminon Program. At first, I did so to kill time, because I was in the hole, facing criminal charges again. But as I began to do these lessons to kill the time with, a funny thing happened - a desire to change began to blossom in me, and I began to apply the things I was learning to my life. Change began. I had been under the belief it was too late for me, I had fallen too deep into the life of vice and violence. But here I was changingrelearning basic living skills, replacing the vices with virtues. Then half way through this course the most beautiful thing happened. My heart opened up to Jesus and I became a Christian and returned to the Catholic Church, which I had abandoned as a teenager. Criminon is not a so-called God Program, but by applying the basic living skills it teaches, and the virtues you learn in THE WAY TO HAPPINESS course, it brought forth in me a desire to change and easy steps to take to achieve changeand this change led me back to Jesus and opened my eyes to the fact that even though Ill never be free from prison, the purpose I exist for still existsto know God, to love God, and to serve God. Michael F, Corcoran State Prison
"The bottom line is that we would like very much to have copies of the booklet to give to our congregation families because they contain matter that can be of benefit to all of us to one degree or another." -- Administrator, Hebrew Center, Los Angeles, California
I want to talk to you tonight about CRIME and DRUGS. I want you to understand that in addressing the problems of crime and drugs, there are two fundamental strategies.
One is the handling of the crime and drug problem that already exists; in other words, CRIMINAL REHABILITATION and DRUG REHABILITATION.
And the other fundamental strategy is CRIME PREVENTION and DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION.
The Way to Happiness book is an extremely effective tool and has been -- and is being -- used successfully in both crime and drug rehabilitation programs as well as crime and drug prevention programs.
By educating ourselves, and our children, in the fundamental lessons for life from The Way to Happiness book we can PREVENT crime and drug abuse before it starts.
An important point that I want to impress upon you -- is that drugs, crime and violence only thrive in a culture that has lost clear concepts of right and wrong. The Way to Happiness book plays a vital role in restoring these values.

My life has had many changes and challenges within the past 3 months, which have lead me to adjustments that "seemed" overwhelming and I had ended up very unhappy.
Your booklet has helped me so very much along with Christ who strengthens me. I know of several friends and family who I feel would benefit greatly if only they could read this booklet as well as prayer.
Your friend in Christ, N. N. Wichita, Kansas
I was very pleased to hear that one purpose of The Way to Happiness Foundation International is to get drugs off the street. That is a very noble task and not one that will be easy to accomplish. But I sincerely hope that you will. I have seen so many deaths and serious injuries as a result of using mind-altering substances when I worked as the Protestant Chaplain for Citizens Emergency Rescue Team.
I have read the book, The Way to Happiness and enjoyed it. I have also used it to help others in prison here, who were searching for peace and happiness, but who did not want to get into "Jail house religion". Those who will not accept "Religion" as a way to peace within themselves, and with others, readily accept The Way to Happiness booklets as a guide to help them find true happiness, and peace within themselves. An example of this would be my cellmate, who, knowing I am a Theologian, would not accept any Biblical advice I'd give him on certain areas of his life. One day he asked me if I had anything that was not religious that he could read. I gave him a copy of The Way to Happiness book, and he accepted it and read it. The word "Religion" or Religion itself scares people away. Your book, being non-religious, is the first book I would recommend to a person who will not accept the Bible. I see it as a non-religious guide to righteous living!
May the grace of God (as you understand it) be with you always.
In Christ's love and service always, L., Doctor of Divinity
Thank you for sending me a copy of The Way to Happiness. It's a very useful booklet to be distributed to our non-denominational neighbors. Our neighbors commented that, indeed, it shows the "common sense guide to better living."
S-R., The Long Beach District Filipino Ministry Methodist Church
After reading through the material, we both found that the views concerning an individual's moral code of ethics, as presented in this booklet, made a lot of sense and followed along the same lines as our own beliefs, without the normal religious undertones.
I'm sure many of our friends would be interested in such a delightful and meaningful publication.
J.P. Everett, Washington
I found the booklet very interesting, easy to read and well presented. Young people could read and understand the material very well. As director of our youth ministry, I would appreciate receiving 25-30 copies, which would be distributed to the young people attending our youth group and Sunday School. Thank you in advance for your kind offer and may God continue to bless your ministry.
E.B., Director of Youth Toronto, Ontario, Canada
I have read the book and have found it very interesting and above all a source of goodwill for both young and old. I will distribute the booklet to our church leaders and to the youth programs of our parish.

Your annual "Set A Good Example" Contest sounds good and I enjoyed your booklet, The Way to Happiness. We do appreciate the values, which you present. In fact, we strive as a Catholic School to form our students in those values. We join our prayers and endeavors with yours.
Sister M.S., Mississippi
We found The Way to Happiness very important and useful in day-to-day life of the people, if they remember and follow the guidelines, which are almost similar to those laid down in our Religious Scriptures. In our opinion these booklets should be distributed to the people, particularly the youngsters, for their prosperous and happy day-to-day life.

One of my chaplain friends in the Texas prison system suggested that your system looks good. We are involved in deterring our youth from the criminal justice system.

"As a Pentecostal minister since I was 23, I am happy to have this tool in my tool kit!" -- Reverend Robert Lee Harris
The Way to Happiness book these are the common sense rules that all societies are governed by. These are the tools the values that all of us should have been taught as we were growing up. These are the lessons that we teach to our children.
The (author's) goal of The Way to Happiness book is to present a moral code of conduct designed in such a way that all people can embrace and use it; regardless of their religious, political or social background.
I think he succeeded.
As a Pentecostal minister since I was 23, I am happy to have this tool in my tool kit!

I am the coordinator of one of our church's Bible study sessions. We will soon be starting our fifth year. We have studied many areas of the Bible and other related subjects. Your booklet, The Way to Happiness, will be a great topic to cover in our classes.
We sometimes tend to forget that we can be happy, just for being ourselves, without a lot of effort. We just need to get back to basics; and feel good about me, as a person.
J. G. Lake Ellsinore, California
I think your book The Way to Happiness is a very valuable book because it applies to all ages and is easy to understand. It can be given to a friend, co-worker or at school. The Way to Happiness is not offensive but just good practical advice for all. I could easily give out 200 copies if available.
Dr. J. S. Baptist Church Conley, Georgia
We have read with interest the booklet, The Way to Happiness, and wish to distribute some to our churches in Canada as well as some school officials I'm acquainted with. I believe we need to start with the basics and this seems to do the job.
P J., Executive Director Methodist Church Mississauga, Ontario
I like the book's orderly way to order a person's life. The topics and suggestions are very basic and essential tips on surviving in this day and age.
Rev. R.L. Green Bay, WI
As the secretary of our church, I would like to personally thank you and your foundation for your thoughtfulness as your books were highly appreciated by all of our members especially our young members. We found it to be very informative as it relates to matters facing our world today. You can be assured that this book would be used to further educate other people in our communities, in living life safe and to it's fullest.
Rev. A.S. Toronto, Ontario, Canada
After reading the booklet and poster I have to say that the observation of proposed conduct and attitude to life and the world around us coincides with the laws of the Islamic religion and way of life to a large extent. Following these principles the world we find ourselves in should change for the better.
S.S., Islamic Centre And Mosque London, England
Your thoughtfulness means so much more than words can ever say. My students seem to have gotten much from the precepts expounded. Only God knows and time will tell your influence.
The booklet is so good and has very practical instructions. We are trying to do our part to help change the way people live and in turn, be better people by helping themselves and others through their influence.
Pastor Torrance, California
These books were distributed to our large Youth Group it made them feel so special! Also, members of our new Senior Citizens Group received a copy. One of them stated, "I really need this!"
Pastor Los Angeles, California
The topics and suggestions are very basic and essential tips on surviving in this day and age. I am convinced that the standards used in your book are fundamental and highly accepted.
Reverend Green Bay, WI
After studying your booklet The Way to Happiness, I was deeply inspired to teach a youth class using your booklet. The Way to Happiness says in a simpler way, all that I would want our young adults to know. The Way to Happiness classes would be open to adults as well as youths. The classes will run for a while, as I will be teaching one section per session, beginning with "Take Care of Yourself" and ending with "Flourish and Prosper."
Minister, Toronto, Canada
I can tell you, beyond all hesitation, that the sort of common-sense information that was presented is precisely the type of self-help approach that perfectly augments a well-balanced spiritual program.
Catholic Chaplain Department of Corrections, California
The Way to Happiness is a book that instills good moral values, and it is easy to read. This book could help many young people if they will only take it serious. I could as a youth family counselor, juvenile officer and Baptist preacher distribute copies to juvenile delinquents, school officials and just depressed and unhappy people.
